This policy applies to all personal information we collect through our website, service delivery processes, and any software tools we deploy, including our AI desktop support agent. By engaging our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. We operate primarily across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
Government-issued identification documents and photographic images, collected and processed by Stripe Identity during onboarding (see Section 5).
We do not knowingly collect sensitive information unless directly relevant to a service request and you have provided consent.
We collect personal information through: website forms; the ServiceM8 job management system; Stripe payment processing; the DACR AI desktop support agent (with your knowledge and within the scope of your service agreement); direct communications via email, phone, or in person; and referrals or publicly available sources such as ABN Lookup.
We will not use your personal information for direct marketing without your consent, and will always provide a clear means to opt out.
We use Stripe Identity for identity verification during onboarding. You may be asked to submit a government-issued identity document and a selfie. These are transmitted directly to and processed by Stripe in accordance with their Privacy Policy at stripe.com/au/privacy. DACR does not retain copies of identity document images beyond what is strictly required by law. Verification is required to prevent fraud and confirm legitimate business accounts.

We retain personal information for as long as commercially necessary or as required by law. Financial records are retained for a minimum of 7 years (Income Tax Assessment Act 1997). Device diagnostic data is retained only until the support matter is resolved. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify it securely.
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures including: TLS/HTTPS encrypted connections; access controls and role-based authentication; regular security assessments; and use of security-certified third-party platforms for payment and identity verification.
In the event of an eligible data breach under the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) in accordance with our legal obligations.
Under the Privacy Act and APPs, you may request: access to personal information we hold about you; correction of inaccurate or incomplete information; deletion where we are not required by law to retain it; and withdrawal of consent for direct marketing.
